Data used in this study were the opinions of experts and practitioners through a pairwise questionnaire survey. The methods used were a two-round Delphi process and an Analytical Network Process (ANP). The findings indicate that consumers are anticipated to transition from conventional platforms to digital platforms, including both expenditure and capital allocation avenues, by considering technology advancements, online consumer behavior, and future consumer expectations. The banking business model is anticipated to evolve towards Beyond Banking or Open Banking. Therefore, authorities must devise a comprehensive strategy for the future of the financial sector to cultivate robust financial and commercial systems.
<publication_date media_type="online"><month>8</month><day>4</day><year>2025</year></publication_date><publication_date media_type="print"><month>8</month><day>4</day><year>2025</year></publication_date><pages><first_page>542</first_page><last_page>557</last_page></pages><publisher_item><item_number item_number_type="article_number">50</item_number></publisher_item><ai:program xmlns:ai="http://www.crossref.org/AccessIndicators.xsd" name="AccessIndicators"><ai:free_to_read start_date="2025-08-04"/><ai:license_ref applies_to="am" start_date="2025-08-04">https://wseas.com/journals/cr/2025/b025107-3162.pdf</ai:license_ref></ai:program><archive_locations><archive name="Portico"/></archive_locations><doi_data><doi>10.37394/232018.2025.13.50</doi><resource>https://wseas.com/journals/cr/2025/b025107-3162.pdf</resource></doi_data><citation_list><citation key="ref0"><doi>10.5750/ijme.v165ia1.1177</doi><unstructured_citation>YILDIRIM, U., & İNEGOL, G.
