Aim:
This special issue will attempt to present a thorough analysis in numbers and models of the process of convergence of Western Balkans businesses and economies towards integration to European Union relevant business and economic models. The goal is to present an integral quantified mostly but qualified analysis too of all issues related to this convergence process focusing, however, only on Business and Economic models transformations. It aims at bringing together research analyses on these subjects coming from business and data analytics mostly, but , also, from classical econometrics, macro and micro-economy modelling and transformations, business process re-engineering and modelling, digitalization transformations of services, businesses and economies in Western Balkans. Special effort will be paid in the analysis of Challenges and prospects regarding this convergence process from a multidisciplinary point of view including Business and Economy but, also, engineeri! ng and business modelling, data science, statistics and data mining, digitalization transformations, quality control engineering and applied mathematics approaches.
