Aim:
Geomatic techniques and methodologies are increasingly being used for construction monitoring and control, as well as for the development of construction management systems. Geomatics techniques can be used: to monitor progress, detect errors, and plan construction activities (laser scanning); to store and analyze data such as land use, zoning, and environmental data, or to manage and visualize construction data, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with regulations (GIS); to track equipment and personnel on the construction site. This information can be used to monitor progress, ensure safety, and optimize the use of resources (GNSS); to visualize and manage the construction process, coordinate between different stakeholders, and optimize construction activities (BIM); to monitor construction progress, detect changes to the site, and identify potential hazards (Remote Sensing). In summary, geomatic techniques and methodologies are critical for construction monitoring and control. By using these techniques, construction managers can optimize the construction process, improve safety, and ensure compliance with regulations. Furthermore, the development of construction management systems can be greatly enhanced by incorporating geomatic technologies to create accurate and reliable data. This Special Issue aims to collect original research articles and reviews on innovative research dedicated to methodologies, applications and case studies
