Abstract: In the paper, we present a comprehensive exploration of the mathematical properties, applications,
and scholarly contributions associated with the generalized gamma family. We study connections between
cumulants and central moments and analyze the parameter estimation of the Generalized Gamma distribution in
mixed models.
