Abstract: This article shows the design and simulation of a broadband antenna based on a circular microstrip monopole using a Duroid substrate with a dielectric permittivity of 2.2 and a thickness of 1.27 mm. The simulations of this article were carried out using Ansys High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). The antenna geometry presents replicas of the monopole following the tree fractal distribution. The S11 scattering, current distribution, and the radiation pattern were carried out. The antenna presented shows bandwidth for the new 5G FR2 band operation.
