Abstract: The article presents a new methodology for assessing the state of the integrated security system, as the final generalizing result of the research related to the assessment of the risks of damage from accidents and fires. Based on a systemic integrated approach, a mechanism for assessing the impact of risks on the general state of the integrated safety system is shown, considered in the form of shortcomings of personnel of individual types of safety (industrial safety, fire safety, labor protection) and production structural units. The procedure for solving problems related to assessing the state of the integrated safety system, based on the application of a risk-oriented approach, is demonstrated. The risk assessment mechanism proposed in the methodology is a decision-making model for building an effective program for improving and developing the integrated safety system operating at the enterprises with fire and explosion hazards.
