Enquiring the Construction and Control of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Environmental-Friendly Applications

Abstract: This paper examines the approaches to control Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) concerning energy conservation and sustainability at high altitudes and long ranges. The work integrates research and development activities concerning the UAV’s environmental footprint and sustainability by evaluating eco-friendly material selections, noise mitigation methods, and life cycle assessments toward greening UAV operations, as a UAV fleet requires UAV environmental operation considerations. Furthermore, autonomous navigation control systems, sensor integration, data processing, AI, and ML are integrated. Hence, the sophisticated emphasis of this evaluation is placed on sustainable design strategies and considerable measures to reduce noise pollution for environmentally-friendly UAV operation. More specifically, this paper includes a review of UAV construction materials, a review of noise and emission reduction methods, as well as an extensive reference to UAV control systems. This review includes autonomous navigation techniques, sensors for optimal navigation, and a brief review of real-time data processing techniques. In addition, innovative approaches to the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning for autonomous operation and optimization of UAV missions are evaluated, enhancing their efficiency and reliability in real-world conditions. Finally, the life cycle of UAVs is analyzed and evaluated, and the conclusions arising from the study are given.
