Research on Virtual Reality (VR) Technology in Digital Transformation of Metal Welding Practice using Brazing Technique

Abstract: This article will delve into re-research on studying the principles of traditional metal welding methods using traditional brazing techniques with traditional tools, machines and equipment, thereby proposing solutions to transform vocational training practice model using virtual reality technology. The method used in the article is the modeling method, building 3D models of practical equipment such as soldering irons, gas cylinders, metal iron blanks and protective gear using 3D graphic design technologies such as Maya 3D, Unity, and building virtual simulation exercises of the practice of welding metal bars using brazing techniques, using the powerful programming language C#. The simulation program of the practice of metal welding techniques has been tested and evaluated by 28 experts who are teachers and 250 learners at vocational training institutions in Thai Nguyen city. The results of the virtual practice are evaluated as meeting the quality requirements.
