Abstract: This study examines the importance of cooperation between tourism destination management and external stakeholders in responding to crisis situations. It aims to evaluate how the perceived importance of such cooperation influences the effectiveness of crisis management in tourism. The research further explores the relationship between stakeholder perceptions and both the level of crisis preparedness and the actions taken during emergencies. The theoretical framework is based on literature indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, focusing on tourism crisis management and stakeholder collaboration. Empirical research relies on data collected via questionnaires, targeting destination management in Croatia. Hypotheses were tested through regression analysis using SPSS software. The study contributes to understanding the complexity of crisis management in tourism, a field with major economic relevance. By exploring how stakeholders collaborate and respond to crises, the research offers insights into improving resilience and maintaining economic stability in tourism destinations during uncertain and challenging conditions.
