Prediction of Toxic Cloud Diffusion based on Small and Medium Coupling Model

Abstract: The dispersion behavior of toxic gases after leakage is an important topic to research since poisonous gas leaks from chemical materials are a common cause of accidents that pose serious risks to both human health and the environment. This paper proposes a Gaussian-CFD dual-coupling model to predict the diffusion process of toxic gas leakage in two scales. In this model, we study the influence of urban buildings on the diffusion of poisonous gas by analyzing the diffusion of gas in the periphery of the buildings and provide theoretical support for accurate prediction of the diffusion of poisonous gas.
