Abstract: In order to cultivate students' information security literacy, problem analysis ability, and engineering practice ability, this article explores an intelligent teaching mode based on virtual simulation technology. In order to optimize teaching effectiveness and improve students' practical application abilities, this article conducts an in-depth analysis of the restructuring logic of course content, carefully plans the implementation path of teaching links, and systematically constructs a new teaching mode. This article is based on virtual simulation technology and designs an experimental teaching session for defending against application layer attacks, aiming to improve students' practical operational abilities by simulating real scenarios. Teaching practice data shows that the information security intelligent teaching system constructed by integrating virtual simulation technology effectively promotes the achievement of the goal of cultivating applied talents. This model breaks through the constraints of traditional teaching and stimulates students' learning initiative through innovative teaching methods, significantly improving classroom participation depth and knowledge absorption efficiency.
