Hydrodynamic Pressure during Operation of Oil Wells with Deep Well Pumps

Abstract: The article examines the determination of hydrodynamic pressure and the influence of the relaxation properties of oil on this pressure during the operation of oil wells with deep-well sucker rod pumps. It has been revealed that if at the initial moment the plunger speed changes abruptly (instantaneous increase in speed), then the hydrodynamic pressure drop can have a pulsed nature, and the relaxation properties of oil lead to a "¬delay" in reaching the maximum pressure. It has been established that the relaxation parameters of oil, along with viscosity and density, can serve as limiting factors in the calculation of hydrodynamic pressure.
